Abbie is learning to share Mommy time. She's understanding that I need to give Sam attention and then he sleeps for a long time after. The good thing is that Abbie is learning to play on her own a lot more. Of course I love and miss our "play time", but it is nice to see her more independent. Not to worry though, she still gets a lot of my time. Abbie has the best imagination and loves to play pretend. She's always grabbing her purse and saying "come on Mamma, let's go shopping" When you ask where she's going shopping it's either Wal-mart or the Mall. Yesterday, she put on my winter boots and a belt (no pants of course) and grabbed her purse to go to work. Today she had her desk set up at the potty in the bathroom. Check out the pics. You'll notice some flash cards with names on them. She's learning to read. Yup, she can tell you each name on the cards - brilliant! She also likes to pack a bag full of books and go to school. She'll even tell me that she's going on a bus to school. I just can't keep up with her. She's getting so smart.

I'm learning to budget my time better between the two kids and the house work and I'm even putting in some time for myself here and there. I started running with the kids in the stroller this week. That has been awesome! I've missed running so much. Getting a shower after running is a different story, but I'm working on it. I still have to work on finding some time to give to Daddy. Poor guy - by the time the kids are fed, bathed and put to bed we just crash. Before we know it the day is over and the night time feedings begin... gotta love the tiny infant stomache.
