Yup, last night was the first night that he was really effected by tooth pain. I first felt the sharp nub come through yesterday afternoon. I guess my baby is no longer a newborn, he is now an official infant. That's okay though, at least he's not a 2 year old-yet. I'm really trying to enjoy every minute of him being a baby. I feel like I was always trying to rush things with Abbie. I couldn't wait for her to roll over, sit ,walk, talk. I was in such a hurry for her to grow up and now that she's getting so big she's still fun and I enjoy all the new stuff she says and does every day, but I so miss that little baby girl. The baby who I played dress up with and posed for all the cute little pictures. I could put her hair up in pig tails. Now I chase her screaming around the house to change her diaper, put on clothes and maybe brush her hair every few days. Don't get even get me started on the nightmare of tooth brushing. I is pretty cool though having a 2 year old and an infant. I remember being a little bored with Abbie when she was Sams age because there is only so much they can do in a day and they do sleep a lot. The combination of the two kids at different ages definatly keeps me going all day. By the time the kids are in bed at night and I finally sit down for some dinner and tv I'm exhausted!
So, I'm getting a little more time at the gym now. The kids are adapting to the routine and I get there more often. My goal has been to run 3 miles in under 30 mintues and I finally did it - 29:50!!! Yup just under 30 minutes but I did it. I would like to run a 5k and I guess that's what my current running goal is, other than weight loss of course.
That reminds me. Abbie says of course a lot now and it is so cute. Now I realize that she may be getting it from me. She also puts "so" infront of everything too. Ask her if she wants something like read a book or whatever she says "of course, that's so fun"! or something like that, you the picture I'm sure. Of course! That's so cute!
Anyway, I'm so done for now. Gotta run to the gym, of course!
