Sam-man is a walking man

It's been about a week now and I still can't get used to seeing him walk. I'll hear him coming around the corner and I expect to see him crawling but, there he is, his hands up in the air, walking like a little monkey. He's so funny. His new favorite thing to do is walk up to his sister, grab her hair and run back to me laughing like it's the best game ever. Unfortunatly though, I know he's destined to learn the hard way that this is NOT a good game to play with Abbie. So far she's been somewhat patient with him, but I can see that soon she's going to let him have it.

October was a fun and busy month. We had Grammy Bryant here for a long weekend. Abbie loved that she slept on the couch in her room. I loved that Grammy could get up with her in the morning! Unfortunatly Abbie did have a few nights that week where she woke up and kept Grammy up for like 2 hours each night. Sammy also had a few rough nights with what we thought was teething. In fact his rough nights have continued since then and have only recently gotten better. Still no teeth to show for all the complaining but his gums are very swollen and he sticks his fingers in there when he's upset. He doesn't complain at all during the day though, so who knows what's going on. Abbie went through a rough sleep pattern too at about this same age. I know that when kids go though each milestone (crawling, walking, talking, etc) they tend to have sleep issues too so I guess this may be a part of it.

We had lots of Halloween fun through out October. Abbie's friend Carson had acool Halloween party wich was a lot of fun. Her school had a fall festival wich gave her another chance to dress-up. And of course Halloween was exciting. This was Abbie's first real trick-or-treat experience. Last year we did the tick-or-treat in the Mall and when she was One when stayed at home(in Key West) to pass out cnady. Sammy was dressed as Superman and Abbie was Wonderwoman. You'll see pictures of Abbie with many different costumes because we just couldn't decide. She actually left the house as a "rock star" (sort of like Hanna Montana) but when Carson changed into his Superman costume (because he saw Sammy in his) then Abbie had to change into Wonderwoman. Thankfully I thought to pack it before we left the house.
