Yup, they still get along...

Sam thinks that Abbie is the coolest person ever! He just laughs and laughs when he sees her. She's really turned out to be a great big sister. However, in typical 2 year old fashion, she does have some difficulty sharing. With some encouragment though, she is able to reason her way through it. She may steal a toy away from him, but she will replace it with another toy, one that she will allow him to have. At kids club when the other kidswant to play with him she'll say "that's MY brother, Sam man". Sam man is one of our pet names for him. I also call him Sammy J, but I don't think anyone else does.

I got out Abbie's baby albums to give her a refresher course on family members that she hasn't seen in a year (can you believe it's been a year?) and she thinks all the baby pics are Sam. The good news is that she recognized Pappa Bruce and GG right away. She's getting so excited to fly to Maine next week and to sleep at GG's house. She also wants to do some baking with Pappa Bruce and maybe some gardening(Pappa?). Yesterday she stood in the kitchen and said "Oh hello Pappa Bruce" I asked her what Pappa Bruce was doing and she said he was baking a cake. She's so funny! The queen of pretend play. It's so funny to see how her little mind works. We got a rolling Dora backpack yesterday. She now uses it to pretend that she's going to the airport.
