Yesterday was my birthday and I decided that I wanted cookies so, Abbie and I made some chocolate chip cookies - home made this time. Abbie did sneak in a few bites again and I we did drop the bowl of batter on the floor one time, but in the end it was a success.

We love the new fishing vest. As soon as she put it on we realized that her new rain boots would be perfect with the vest. Abbie ran around the house in her vest and boots and had a great time. Then we decided to to get the Maine moose from her bed, "Bruce the Moose".
After playing with the vest, the boots and the moose for awhile she realized that she needed a hat to complete the look, so Abbie went to find one. She came back with Daddy's Maine hat - perfect!
Below are two videos of Abbie opening her her LL Bean package and then running around with the vest and boots. She's a fun kid and so full of new words everyday.
I still have pictures and video to post of our weekend at the beach with Grammy Cora. Those pics are on the other computer which I can only get to when Abbie takes a nap. Since she really isn't into napping lately, I'm not sure when I'll get to that - hopefully this afternoon. Fingers crossed that she naps today. I've been taking her out for afternoon rides to get her off to sleep, but today our street and sidewalk are flooded. We can get out if we have to, but since it's dark and Stormy we may just stay in today. We had a wonderful time with Grammy Cora and Abbie misses her so much. Abbie really loves having family here.
We miss you all and look forward to seeing Grammy and Aunt Amy when little brother Samuel is born in December!
