My baby is 2!!!!

What an incredible day! We started out with a big breakfast of pancakes and sausage, followed by a trip to the park. Daddy took care of the cake and balloons while we were gone and we came home to the party all set up for us. The guests (monkey, penguin and lady bug) were there and had their party hats on

What a surprise! When she came in she didn't know where to go first. Presents, balloons and that great new toy kitchen to explore. She ended up going back and forth between the kitchen toy and opening gifts.

After the gifts she played while I made some pizza.
Then came the cake. She new exactly what to do. I think the candle was blown out before the cake even hit the table. And of course her fingers were into the frosting long before we could get the plates or a knife to cut the cake. She had a huge peice and was asking for more as soon as her plate was empty.

This video is of Abbie spelling Happy Birthday. Well, we never did get to birthday, but she's pretty good with happy.

We haven't really done a lot with the t-ball set yet, but she tried it out yesterday. This is just a quick clip of her hitting the ball. I'm sure there will be better videos soon.

Needless to say, she did NOT take a nap. She was so exhuasted but she just couldn't give in to sleep. She was in bed by 7pm though.
