Third tri-mester

Finally, we're in the 3rd trimester. It has actually gone by quickly, but at this point I'm feeling very eager to NOT be pregnant anymore. I feel like my energy level is going down and I'm not giving Abbie all that I should. I have an appointment tomorrow and I'm pretty sure that they will schedule my C-section date. Looks like it will be either December 3rd or 5th.

We don't get out every day anymore. The days that we stay at home are long ones, but some days I just don't feel like going any where. After two or three days like that though we're both bouncing off the walls, so we get out of the house.

Today we went to the beach. The waves have calmed down some now that Hurricane Ike is out of the Gulf. We're still seeing a lot of nice sea shells, but haven't actually collected any in awhile. The last time we brought some home Abbie got a few live ones in the bucket, which made for a really stinky mess. We will try to get some though to send home to Great Grammy.

Tired baby after the beach.
Beach side baby yoga.
Abbie's' newest thing is to feed and care for her stuffed animals. The monkey, moose and teddy bear seem to be her favorites. She likes to set them up at the table and put out paper plates or plastic bowls for them. At snack time she always has to have enough for whoever is sitting at the table. Her all time favorite snack is of course cheese. That's all I hear all day. It's either "cheese please" or "chee cheese" (cream cheese). She's also quite the hostess with ice. Anytime that we have a drink she has to be sure that we have ice in it. I've even received ice in my hot coffee.

Notice the huge smile. She now loves to say "CHEESE" when she gets her picture taken.

We're still loving the vest Papa Bruce. She had to wear it to go shopping the other day.

So, I now understand why some of my neighbors have crushed gravel yards instead of lawns and why they park their cars sideways in front of their houses. Hurricane Ike didn't even come near our coast, but the storm serge was enough to flood out our street and sidewalks for 3 days.
