She's been talking like crazy. Every day there's a new word. This morning PJ and I were talking and I said "that sucks" - you guessed it, right after me she said "sucks"...oops! She knows her colors really well when I ask her to point to a specific color, but when I ask her what color something is she usually says "blue" (her favorite color), but this morning I gave her a vitamin and asked her what color it was, she said "red". That was cool, the first time I've heard her say red. She says blue and orange all the time though. Please, thank you and your welcome are very clear and constant.
She is definitely a girl of routine. When Daddy gets home we run to meet him at the car, drag him inside by the hand and then she proceeds to take off his shoes and hat and put them away for him. In the morning she's telling him good-bye and practically dragging him to the door, sometimes before he's even had coffee.
Today was a great day at the beach. The storms that we've had lately have washed up some cool sea shells. Abbie and I had fun collecting a bucket full. We're going to clean them up and send them on to Great Grammy. We know that she loves seashells.
