The weather was beautiful and we took advantage of that for a beach day Sunday afternoon.
Daddy bought a water sprinkler toy for some back yard fun. Since taking down the pool we haven't had a lot to do outside, so we're looking for some new options. The sprinkler toy was fun, and she plays with her t-ball set here and there.
We have some wild parrot birds that like to visit Daddy's' bird feeder. When they fly in they come in huge groups and they're pretty loud, so you know when they've arrived. They take turns at the feeder and wait on the wires above til it's their turn. They are a pretty lime green color with blue tipped wings.
More banana bread! We've finally finished off the first bunch of bananas. Abbie and I made 2 loaves of bread this weekend and I think that we finally have the hang of it. We're getting pretty good.
So, for some reason I was really focused on finding a pumpkin patch this past week. Well, this being Florida a true pumpkin patch is hard to come by. So, we did the next best thing-we went to Wal-mart and bought the perfect pumpkin, came home and carved it up. I've been searching for a harvest festival and I think I found one for next weekend that we'll try to get to.
Life is really a collection of those small, special moments and I'm trying to snatch up as many as I can right now. My little girl will only be two for such a short time...
