Not much going on this week

We've had a pretty slow week. Abbie has been sick with a runny butt since last wednesday. She's been cranky and tired a lot too. Also, we've had a few days of rain and the chance of rain so we've been at home a lot (too much really). Daddy is ready to go back to work. He's had more time off since we've lived here than he's had in the past year and half. I don't think that he knows what to do with himself anymore. The rain and storms have made it difficult to do much fishing. He is very relaxed though. It's been a much needed vacation for all of us. Abbie is so in love with Daddy. She just loves to be with him no matter what he is doing. He has to sneak around the house to get away from her for even a minute.


We found this new park, not far from our house. Abbie and I have gotten back into the routine of doing our morning walk in the jogger and then we go to the park. She loves it there. But, since it's so hot we only get to spend a short time there each day. It is shaded really well though, so at least I can get out of the sun a little.

Abbie loves chairs. She's so happy to have her very own chair that is Abbie sized. I put away the high chair, which she was using as her tv chair. It was getting a little dangerous. It was down on the lowest height. She could get in and out of it easily, but she liked to play with the straps and would get one leg locked in and then get stuck. This new chair is perfect.
